Why does a paper resume lose contacts?
The recruiter has 50 CVs on the desk. To call you, they must type your number by hand. If there is a typo, the contact is lost.
In a selection process, the time between the CV and the first contact is critical. If the recruiter has to type the phone number, copy the email or manually search LinkedIn, any mistake pushes them away from you. A CV with QR removes that friction: scan, save the contact and call in 10 seconds.
Also, a paper resume does not have space for everything: the portfolio, the YouTube channel, the GitHub repository or featured projects. A QR pointing to your digital contact card can include all those links on one page, without cluttering the CV design.
What is a resume QR and how does it work?
A QR on the resume opens a digital contact card with phone, email, LinkedIn and portfolio. The recruiter saves the contact with one tap, without typing.
In codigo-qr.es you create your digital contact card (vCard) with name, title, current employer, phone, email, website and social media. The system generates a unique URL (codigo-qr.es/l/your-name) with a save-contact button. It also generates the QR to include in your CV.
If you change your phone number, employer or email, you edit the card in the panel. All CVs already in circulation point to the updated version. The CV QR does not change. You can also use a bio link instead of a vCard if you have multiple projects or channels to showcase.

How to add a QR to your resume?
You create the digital contact card in the panel, the system generates the QR, and you add it to your resume design next to your contact details.

Create a free account at codigo-qr.es.

Choose the Business Card template in the landings panel. Fill in your name, title, phone, email, LinkedIn and other profiles.

The system generates your personal URL (codigo-qr.es/l/your-name) and the dynamic QR.

Download the QR as PNG or SVG and add it to your resume design: top right corner, next to contact details or at the end of the document.

If you change your phone or employer, edit the card in the panel. The CV QR remains valid.

Yes. The digital business card includes a website field. If you have multiple projects or profiles, use the Bio Link template instead of the vCard: you can add up to 20 links.
